Salam Eidul Fitri

bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

the Eid ul-Fitri is just around the corner. InsyaAllah by this Tuesday Muslims in Malaysia will together celebrate the meaningful day of Hari Raya Eidul Fitri. However, that means we are going to have Ramadhan leaving us for the rest of the year.

It is quite sad atmosphere around here when it comes to this particular situation. People are enjoying the upcoming Hari Raya without really take into their deep heart the feeling of sadness and overwhelming their last days in Ramadhan with the lagu raya playing filling in the air. It is not wrong to listen to the lagu raya. I myself do listen to them but we as Muslims should at least have the consideration to possess the feeling of sadness leaving the holy month of Ramadhan as if like we are leaving our beloveds for the rest of our life. That's the feeling that we should have. I heard once in a tazkirah on television by Ustazah Dato' Siti Nur Bahyah Mahamood, she said;"Sungguh malanglah bagi sesiapa yang menangis apabila mendengar lagu2 raya, tapi tidak sedikit pun menangisi pemergian Ramadhan.."

I am not saying that we should cry all day long longing for the leaving Ramadhan. Ramadhan will still leave us no matter how hard we cry for it to come back. The point is we had to have the hope that Ramadhan will come back to our life and of course we could live long enough to meet Ramadhan next year. Pray for that. AMIIN..

Tayyib. There is always a said that Ramadhan is the month for us to really work hard to attain the bless of Allah (Mardatillah) because it is the month that Allah really giving out His Blesses to those He wills. So, since it is approaching the end of Ramadhan, let's muhasabah or evaluate our deeds during the month. Have we fulfill the obligation of fasting truthfully? Have we did something that can bring Islam one level up by means to the current situation? Have we? We should ask ourselves.

Akhiran, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin. May this Eidul Fitri lights up our gathering with fellow family and friends. Seek for forgiveness and also forgive others. Do pay zakat for those who are not paying yet. Plan your journey back to your hometowns and do not play those mercun. Have a safe Eidul Fitri.

wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh..
